Once again today we were separated into smaller groups for Physiology and that is a good thing because it would be easier for me to concentrate on the lecture. And the lecturer for my group is Doctor Hani Gamal. A guy who knows how to keep the students stay awake during the class. Today also we enter a new topic : vision - of special senses. I learned a bunch of good things during the lecture, but what I want to share in this post got nothing to do with Physiology. Doctor Hani asked us whether we like physics or not, because he asked the same question to the egyptian students, and most of them HATES Physics. That is so wrong, because to him Physics is the second most important science after Mathematics (math is no.1 and physics is 2nd). And a guy who said ' i like biology, but hate math very much' is actually a schizophrenic!

So i used to be a schizophrenic before, for i don't really like math and physics very much, not as much as i like biology, chemis3 and basketball and weekends. To tell the truth, the reason i took medic is to avoid physics. It is not physics' fault, for it is all based on logics and calculation. Just that I'm not a good left brain user. I never even once got an A for physics, except during spm - an A2. I like math, although it was actually a little late. Among all the male students in 5 SA 1, i was the worst in math - add math. So in order not to lose to them, or being embarresed for having the lowest grade, i began studying math like there was no more tomorrow (niat salah), and it worked.

Talking about math, i remembered a scene from a korean drama i recently watch, Snow Queen. A guy asked a math genius, Han Tae Woong why he loved math so much, and that he answered (according to the script) ' The woman i love also asked me the same question. At that time i told her i liked math because math always had solutions...' To the readers who want to watch this drama, it is advised not to because it ends sad. But if you like sad ending stories, then go ahead and hit it. Before I end this nonsense post, Doctor Hani said, surprisingly, girlfriends are closely related to mathematics. It involved addition, multiplication, substraction and division. No offense but she adds problems, multiplies your enemy, substracts the money and divides your friends. This is not my saying -- I just took a piece of what my doctor said, so that we can all think about it. So think about it.

If your doc's theory is true, then we should expect to find a lot of schizophrenic medical students. Very harsh and disturbing.
And I hate to say this but we share the same reason. I chose medicine because I can't do physics.
Somehow I feel sorry for your A2. Guilt. You know what I meant.

when i was in Kisas,i used to hate physics too.Yeah,i decided to take medic because i love bio so much.but then,i think dr Hani was right.Physics is more important than bio if we related it to physiology especially. it's all about to think in physics.and biology is just you have to memorize and know the techniques to score the paper
